LEISURE
ACTIVITIES - Photogallery
Our association is a meeting and socialization
point, and organizes daily numerous cultural and recreational activities for
attendees which is included in the cost of the courses.
Lovers of sport can play football, tennis, or go to discover the surroundings by
mountain bike. Trekking enthusiasts will enjoy the beautiful scenery by walking
along the nature trails.
Weekly visits will be arranged to a manufacturer of
wine and local produce and an old farm, where visitors will be guided to
discover the rural and agricultural production in its various stages, including
through participation in certain activities such as milk processing, production
of the dough by hand or the preparation of jams after fruit harvest. Through
these activities, visitors will gain the ability to differentiate between the
artisanal products and mass products, and learn to know the origin of raw
materials, the processing and more generally the flavors and traditions of the
Italian cuisine.
LEISURE AND EXCURSIONS-GUIDED TOURS
The geographical location of Bovino, located in the heart of southern Italy,
makes it the ideal starting point for excursions to discover the wonders and
artistic landscape, from the Tremiti Islands and the promontory of Gargano with
its beautiful jagged beaches, dotted with sea caves and inlets. There are also
many sites that for their honor have joined the UNESCO heritage: the town of
Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento on the Amalfi coast, which with its natural
conformation and striking architectural beauty has always attracted poets,
artists and travelers from around the world; Castel del Monte, with the
perfection and the mystery of its architecture; the picturesque buildings of
conical Trulli of Alberobello and the nearby Caves of Castellana; the ancient
dwellings of Matera stones carved into the rock; the ancient Roman cities of
Pompeii and Herculaneum, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, which form
a complete and living testimony of society and everyday life in a moment of the
past, unparalleled in the world; the magnificent Royal Palace of Caserta,
surrounded by beautiful gardens and designed to rival in splendor and harmony
with the Versailles of Louis XIV.
The excursions take place every Saturday and are included in the price of the
course, students will always be accompanied by a guide.
