Association

“ComunicAZIONE” is a non-profit cultural organization that was founded by Stefania Russo and Carlo Gaetano Nicastro. Why “ComunicAZIONE”? The "communication" is transmitting a message through a medium; this process requires the plurality, the interaction between different subjects, which means also put in common, where the prefix refers to the Latin word cum (with). So “ComunicAZIONE” is a joint effort, but also a commitment addressed to the community.

Mission

“ComunicAZIONE” is to promote understanding and exchange between Italian people and culture and peoples and cultures around the world. Communication is a dialogue that occurs between different people first of all through the language: the exchange between cultures, therefore, occurs primarily through the knowledge of the language, which is the key for the access to the history, culture, art and traditions of a people. For this reason our association will:
• promote learning and exchange between cultures through the study of languages and international mobility;
• promote awareness of the Italian language abroad;
• establish contacts with the communities of Italians in the world to organize and promote events;
• organize courses in Italian language for foreigners;
• organize courses in culture, art, gastronomy of Italy;
• organize trips on land and in places of historic, artistic, archaeological or landscape importance;
• provide hospitality to people, Italian or foreign, involved in our activities.
